Free Internet Service

Based on the latest announcement from the Prime Minister, he state that all Malaysian will have free internet services for 30 minutes of use every day. this initiative is expected to start next month. This services is eligible for poor people in rural and urban areas from households earning less than RM3,000 a month will enjoy free Internet.

In announcing this yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said those registered under the 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) assistance scheme would be among those to enjoy the benefit in a move spearheaded by the Information, Communications and Culture Ministry.

This is a very good programe made by government in order to help poor people in the rural and urban do not miss the current technology. Moreover, it will help many children in their education for finding resources and references.

Describing it as a community-centric initiative that would be expanded to include more Malaysians, PM said this would contribute to the country's growing digital penetration. The ministry, with the help of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, will rope in all telecommunication providers for the effort.

A new hypermarket in Gong Badak

GONG BADAK, Terengganu (1 April 2013) - The fourth branch of Giant Superstore will be launch tomorrow in district of Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu to serve the fast growing town near Kuala Terengganu. The opening ceremony will launch by Y.A.B. Terengganu Chief Minister, Dato’ Ahmad bin Said.

The superstore is located on the new open land that has a good potential for business marketing. It is because that place can provide almost 400 free parking bays. Parking bays is most important part in Kuala Terengganu. Another advantage of this newly branch is the location. That is quite far from the chaotic and traffic jam in the middle of Kuala Terengganu.

“We are truly excited to be opening a fourth store in the state as it gives us the opportunity to provide customers from Gong Badak a new, convenient and affordable option for all their grocery and shopping needs. Customers will be able to find familiar brands and local products at great values, right in their own neighborhood,” Ian Cruddas, commercial director, GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd said.

“We believe Giant Superstore Gong Badak will become a popular shopping destination with its attractive and vibrant shopping atmosphere including the more than 10,000sqft of fresh market. Customers will definitely enjoy the convenience of shopping for everything under one roof,” Cruddas said again
 
There are many activities that will be on the opening day. Which are concert exhibition, discounts, and free sample officiated by Terengganu chief minister, shopping voucher, free membership card on the launching day and many more.

"People know that if they are thirsty, Giant Superstore is the place to come. With plenty of items that available in this superstore. The customer is never disappointed so they always come back." One of the Residents said.

In addition, the single storey mall will house 32 other tenants, offering a comprehensive range of retail products such as beauty care, boutique wear, mobile and telecommunication products, financial and other services, as well as food and beverage outlet.
